unique 1963 recording of Händels Orlando sung in Italian,
joins a series of Ponto releases dedicated to the operatic art of Dame
Janet Baker. Despite her 136 recordings available at the time of
writing, she never recorded this opera commercially. Together with Dame Heather Harper and April Cantelo this opera is a
festival of beautiful voices! Special attention for the final of act 2.
This is Janet Baker absolutely at the top of her career. Like all Ponto
releases, this recording was never released before.
